about

BACK!

Ooops!

So, I was working on two projects. A mixtape showcasing my rapzors on more traditional sounding beats (read: other peoples) called Smokes, and an album proper that I was gonna sell for money and everything, called Bits.

Unfortunately, my laptop died! Well, its power supply did. A replacement was ordered, but! Gasp! It was going to be too late!

I had organized a co-album launch with Sunderlands finest 3 peice rock group Masamune. Part of the draw for this gig was we were going to give away our shiny new cd's to those in attendence.

BUT I HAD NO CD!

So bummer.

I had to do something though, right?

I made a mixtape. I gathered together a bunch of tracks. Some old classics, some live favourites. Some semi completed tracks from Bits and Smokes, some remixes. Frantically, I threw them into an Itunes playlist and burned a whole bunch of CDs to give away.

And I called the mixtape "Ooops!"

Word spread pretty quick that I was unleashing a new(ish) phonic assault onto my lucky live fans. And my internet fans got jealous.

Cant have that!

I had been looking for an excuse to try out Bandcamp. My old pal and bandmate DJ Roborob had been using it with success, so hey.

Im also gonna have donations on. Lets see how that does. The proceeds from this album will be going directly to getting me to Nerdapalooza! :D

about

Sometimes, what you really need is a synthetically made 8-bit instrumental with some raps on it.

Well, friends, this is a place you can find that things.
